Using Otofuke as a base, I drove deep into the heart of Tokachi.I came across the white birch avenue of the "Tokachi Prefectural Ranch." This place probably looks its absolute best when wrapped in a blanket of snow.Seeing horses roaming freely is a spectacle rarely found outside of Hokkaido. Watching them live under the vast skies gave a true sense of the coexistence of abundance and harshness.Next, I headed toward "Kofuku Station." Seeing the building covered in pink tickets, my heart was warmed by the collective energy of people wishing for happiness.

Mit Otofuke als Ausgangspunkt führte die Fahrt tief in das Herz von Tokachi.Dort stieß ich auf die Birkenallee der „Tokachi-Farm“. Dieser Ort sieht wahrscheinlich im Kleid aus tiefem Schnee am allerbesten aus.Frei weidende Pferde sind ein Anblick, den man außerhalb von Hokkaido kaum sieht. Sie spiegelten das für Hokkaido so typische Nebeneinander von reicher Natur und Strenge wider.Als Nächstes ging es zur „Kofuku-Station“. Als ich das mit rosafarbenen Fahrkarten bedeckte Gebäude sah, wurde mir warm ums Herz angesichts dieser Energie der Menschen, die nach Glück streben.

From there, I drove toward the Daisetsuzan mountain range. Standing on the heights, a breathtaking panorama of the Tokachi Plain spread before me. "The world is vast, and humans are small." I was struck by that feeling once again.
